School bullying and violence are problems that have persisted since the school was founded.

Humans are animals of conflict. However, the appearance of school violence these days is not a form of conflict, but follows the logic of the jungle, which can only be seen in the animal world.

In the past, strong children used to bully weak children, but it is common for children from rich families to bully poor children. So how intelligent and ruthless will it be.

"Glory" is a hot topic on Netflix. As a teenager, the main character, who suffered from indescribably terrible school violence, later takes revenge on those who are living well after becoming adults. In a very exhilarating and violent way.

The parts interpreted in English are very awkward, but the message is clear, as there are so many curses and slangs and languages with many social and cultural contexts.

School violence should be eliminated.

학교 폭력 유감

교내 왕따와 폭력은 학교가 생긴 이후로 계속 지속되어온 문제이다.

인간은 갈등의 동물이다. 그러나 요새 학교 폭력의 모습은 갈등의 모습이 아닌, 절대적으로 동물의 세계에서나 볼 수 있는 약육강식의 논리를 따른다.

전에는 힘이 센 아이들이 힘이 약한 아이들을 괴롭히는 것이 대부분이었다면, 돈 많은 집안의 아이들이 가난한 아이들을 괴롭히는 것이 대세다. 그러니 얼마나 지능적이고 무자비할 것인가.

넷플릭스에 “글로리”라는 작품이 화제이다. 십대 시절 말로도 표현 못할 학교 폭력에 시달린 주인공이 훗날 어른이 되어서 자신을 괴롭히고도 잘 살고 있는 사람들에게 복수를 한다. 그것도 아주 통쾌하고 폭력적인 방법으로.

엄청난 욕과 속어, 많은 사회적 문화적 맥락을 띤 언어들이 등장하는 지라, 영어로 해석하는 부분들이 매우 어색하지만, 그러나 메시지는 분명하다.

학교 폭력은 없어져야 한다.
