범죄도시2 The roundup
오랜만에 한국영화가 들어왔다.
오늘은 범죄도시2의 개봉 첫날이다. 야호.
딸래미한테 같이 가자고 했건만, 친구들하고 보기로 했단다. 에라이.
우리 동네는 한국인을 포함한 아시안들이 많이 사는지라 매진이 될까봐 전날 예약을 해두었다.
동네 극장에서는 하루에 두 번 상영을 한다. 저녁에는 더욱 사람이 많을 것 같아서 낮 시간으로 예약을 하였다.
멀티플렉스 영화관이지만, 극장측에서는 한국 사람들만 관람할 것을 예상해 좌석수가 적은 극장에서 상영을 하기로 한 모양이다.
막상 예약을 해보려고 하니 원래 많이 없는 좌석인데다가 사람들이 부지런히 예약을 한 통에, 빈자리가 앞줄 몇 자리만 있었다.
인터넷으로 예매하면 더 할인이 되어야 하는데 이 나라는 2000원 정도가 추가로 붙는다.
아무리 생각해도 이해불가인데, 한편으로 생각하면 당일 가서 좌석이 매진이 될수도 있고 하니, 좌석을 미리 선점하는 프리미엄이라고 생각해야 하나 싶다. 그래도 이해가 안된다. 내가 너희들을 대신해서 좌석 지정까지 하는 수고를 인터넷으로 대신하는데 왜 돈을 달라고 하는 거니.
정말 온 좌석이 꽉 찼다. 생각외로 연세 드신 분들이 많이 오셨다. 내 양옆으로 다 그랬다.
정말 극장 구경 오랫만인지라, 예고편도 재미가 난다. 토르도 재미있어 보이고, 브래드피트 나오는 신작도 재미있어 보인다.
토르의 BGM이 Guns&Roses의 Swet child o'mine이다. 익숙한 음악에 만화같은 분위기가 볼만할 것 같다.

영화가 시작되고 마동석이 등장한다. 왜 전보다 더 커졌지? 몸이 더 크고 단단해졌다. 늙지도 않는다. 마동석은 배우 자체가 캐릭터이다.
때는 2008년으로 거슬러 올라간다. 왜 그렇게 설정했는지 모르겠지만, 범죄도시 1과의 연계성을 주기 위해서 같다.
그렇다면 이 영화는 연작이 될 가능성이 높겠다. 배경은 한국과 베트남을 오가는데 많은 범죄자들이 도피하여 해외에서 다시 범죄를 저지른다는 것을 보여주기 위해 베트남을 설정한 모양이다. 내가 한참 베트남 여행을 다닐 무렵이었다. 그때 저렇게 한국 범죄자들이 베트남으로 와서 극악무도한 범죄를 저질렀던가.
범죄도시1보다 범죄도시2가 더 극악무도하고 잔인하고 사람들을 많이 죽인다. 그 꼭대기에 손석구가 있다. 현재 호빠하고 수금하러 다니는 구씨가 베트남에 있었을 때 사람들을 많이 죽였다.
캐릭터들은 좀더 정형화된 느낌이고, 사건들이 일어나는 틀도 정형화되는 느낌이다. 범죄도시3이 나와도 배경만 바뀔 뿐 토르같은 마동석, 극악무도한 범죄자, 따뜻하고 웃긴 동료형사, 기운 빠진 전직 범죄자들이 나올 것 같다는 생각이 든다.
마동석 없는 범죄도시는 상상하기 어렵지만, 앞으로 손석구처럼 전작보다 더 센놈이 나타난다든가, 배경이 우주로 바뀐다든가 하는 극단적인 상황설정이 있어야 할 것 같다. 마동석이 토르를 하면서 나쁜 놈들을 때려 잡으면 어떨까.
영화가 끝나고 바로 옆에 옷부터 소품까지 다 파는 곳에서 구경을 하다가 귤이랑 파랑 두부를 사서 집으로 왔다.
딸래미 된장찌개랑 밥 해주려고.
혼자 영화 관람 뭐, 괜찮네.

A Korean movie came in after a long time.
Today is the first day of the release of Crime City 2. Hooray.
I asked my daughter to come with me, but she said she was going to see her friends. What the heck.
I made a reservation the day before because I was afraid it would be sold out because many Asians, including Koreans, live in my neighborhood.
Our local cinema has two screenings a day. I made a reservation for daytime because I thought there would be more people in the evening.
Although it is a multiplex movie cinema, it seems that the theater has decided to screen it at a theater with a small number of seats in anticipation that only Koreans will watch it.
When I tried to make a reservation, there were not many seats, and there were only a few empty seats in the front row, which people diligently booked.
If I make a reservation online, there should be more discounts, but this country charges an additional 2 dollars.
I don't understand it no matter how much I think about it, but on the other hand, the seats may be sold out on the day, so I think it's a premium to preempt the seats. I still don't understand, though. Why are you asking me for money when I'm taking the trouble of designating seats on your behalf on the Internet?
The seats are really full. A lot of older people came, more than I thought. Both sides of me did that.
It's been a long time since I saw the cinema, so the previews are fun. Thor looks interesting, and Brad Pitt's new movie looks interesting
Thor's BGM is Guns & Roses' Sweetchild o'mine. I think the familiar music and cartoon-like atmosphere will be worth watching.

Finally!
The movie begins and Ma Dong-seok appears. Why is he bigger than before? The body became bigger and harder. He doesn't even get old. Ma Dong-seok is a character himself.
It dates back to 2008. I don't know why it was set up like that, but it is the same to give connection to Crime City 1.
Then the movie is likely to be a series. The background seems to have been set up in Vietnam to show that many criminals escape from Korea and Vietnam and commit crimes abroad again.
Crime City 2 is more heinous, cruel and kills more people than Crime City 1. At the top of it is Son Seok-gu. Mr. Gu, who currently collects money in the "My Liberation Notes" k-drama, killed many people when he was in Vietnam.
The characters feel more formalized, and the framework in which events occur feels formalized. Even if Crime City 3 comes out, the background will only change, but I think there will be Thor-like Ma Dong-seok, heinous criminals, warm and funny fellow detectives, and ex-criminals who are discouraged.
It is hard to imagine a criminal city without Ma Dong-seok, but in the future, there should be extreme circumstances such as a stronger man like Son Seok-gu or a change of background to the universe. What if Ma Dong-seok plays the role of Thor and beats down the bad guys?
After the movie, I was looking around at a place that sells clothes and interior accessories right next to me, and I bought tangerines, green onions, and tofu and came home.
To cook soybean paste stew and rice for my daughter.
Watching a movie alone. That's nice.
