Are there people these days without a cellphone?

Since everyone can absorb information quickly with their phones in hand,

Can we say that they understand the state of the world?

However, people still travel.

What does it mean to travel?

It means hoping to experience it firsthand.

It's not about finding satisfaction through a screen on a cellphone,

It's about wanting to go to the travel destination yourself, see, hear, and taste things firsthand.

And many travelers are telling us about this fascinating world.

So, instead of feeling overwhelmed by the overly digitalized world,

Since people are thirsty for direct experiences,

I hope you leave this place and go anywhere.

I should go on a trip too.

이런 세상을 못 보고 죽었다면 억울하지 않았을까.

가끔 이런 생각을 할 때가 있다.

세상이 시시각각 급변하고, 더욱더 네트워크는 긴밀해지고 있다.

지구 반대편에 있는 사람들과 언제든 소통할 수 있는 방법이 도처에 있다.

내가 모르는 곳에 어떤 일이 생겨도 바로 알아낼 수 있는 세상이다.

어떻게 생각하면 이 시대의 사람들은 알려고 들면 다 알아낼 수 있고, 정보의 양도 방대하다.

다만, 핸드폰을 손에 쥐고 있을 때 그런 일들이 모두 가능하다.

하기는 요새 핸드폰 없는 사람들이 있을까.

다들 핸드폰을 들고 정보를 금세 흡수할 수 있으니,

이것은 세상 물정을 안다고 말할 수 있는 것인가?

그러나 사람들은 여행을 다닌다.

여행을 다니는 것은 무슨 의미일까.

직접 체험하기를 바라는 것이다.

핸드폰 속의 화면으로 대리만족을 하는 것이 아니고,

자신이 직접 여행지로 가서 보고 듣고 맛보기를 원하는 것이다.

그리고 많은 여행가들이 이토록 신기한 세상이 있다고 알려주고 있다.

그러니, 너무 디지털화된 세상에 자신이 압도되었다고 생각하지 말고,

그만큼 사람들은 직접적인 체험에 목말라하고 있으니,

이 자리를 떨치고 어디로든 떠나기를 바란다.

나도 여행을 가야겠다.
